IMPACT + RESULTS

Kelly not only brought all staff and board members together with shared values but reminded us of our deep connection to aspects of the work we had taken for granted. She facilitated and coached our company through a value session while we were on pause from covid-19 and creating new strategic priorities.
Kelly’s ability to bring us together wholeheartedly and with genuine positivity is valuable to our work culture. Her work has increased our love of the work and reassured us we're on the right path moving forward.
We plan to work with Kelly when onboarding new staff and board members in the future and facilitate our ongoing value sessions to help keep us accountable to our priorities and focus on the positive nature of our work.

Kelly’s ability to listen to me and ask great questions has helped guide some of my biggest life decisions. The tools that she uses are tools that I use regularly to help me design the life I want to live. She worked with me, my business partners and staff to really dig deep into our values and relationships and fundamentally changed the way I look at business, communication and relationships. She also helped me see when it was time to let it all go and focus on what I needed now - to be a fearless mother of twins. I wish I could articulate better how truly transformative coaching sessions with her can be! I wholeheartedly recommend getting on board with anything Kelly is doing and if you have a chance to work with her - DO IT! She is the wise woman you need.

The National Arts Centre was thrilled to work with Kelly on our inaugural Leadership Exchange, a new professional development program for staff. Each of the 18 participants – both mentees and mentors – completed an EQ-i assessment at the start of the program, and Kelly led very thoughtful and inspiring coaching sessions with each individual, as well as facilitating discussions between each mentee and mentor. We received tremendous feedback from the participants about how important this element of the program was to their overall success, and look forward to working with Kelly on future editions of the program.

Kelly is both deeply curious and sharply insightful, about people, teams, and the world around us. Her pointed questions are softened by sincere care. Like oysters needing sand to create pearls, Kelly introduced just enough tension to help me grow, allowing potentially uncomfortable truths to reveal themselves as the jewels of wisdom they are.

Kelly is a badass mo fo, coach nerd. She asks all the right questions to empower development and change. She is a kickass person with a heart of gold. Kelly takes vulnerability seriously and provides a safe space to explore what lies within. Kelly's support is transformational!

I had the honour of having Kelly as my learning leader and mentor for the Professional + Business Coach Certification Program through Canada Coach Academy. From the start, Kelly created a safe space through her warmth, humour, and genuine passion for coaching. Kelly embodied all that a great coach is, and was an incredible role model. She took the time to acknowledge each one of us, celebrate our successes and made our weekly classes a special place to be. I am excited to start my coaching journey and to have Kelly as a mentor. I truly believe that anyone who has the pleasure of having Kelly as a coach, mentor and/or learning leader will begin their coaching journey in the most amazing way possible.

Kelly Wood is a gifted leadership coach who worked with our large team in Marketing and Communications at Banff Centre through a team values project. She helped build a strong dynamic of trust on our team and for that I will always be grateful.

We gave Kelly a huge challenge in asking her to develop some team building, communication and values work in an extremely short amount of time. Kelly took our needs and created a powerful, efficient and useful session that we all were engaged in. Her session has changed the way we work together and understand each other both at work and at home. Kelly has a beautiful presence and was able to make our group of very different personalities feel at ease and welcomed. She was able to keep the sessions fun, engaging and on track. We would 100% recommend Kelly and can’t wait to work with her again!"

Kelly helped me approach a tough decision with more clarity, more fullness. Her coaching helped me embrace the excitement that was hidden under some slightly gunky layers of trepidation and guilt. Thank you, Kelly. I'm so glad you were there with me!

Kelly’s insights add depth and focused reflection to my work, family and personal processes. She is a true bricoleur, pulling from her learning in different bodies of work as a situation requires and she always has a useful tool, quote or resource up her sleeve. She is a collaborative coach, ebbing and flowing with what’s front of mind on a given day and she pushes my thinking in provocative yet gentle ways.

Kelly Wood, as a coach or facilitator, is an investment whether for personal or business growth. Kelly was my facilitator for 6 months for the Life + Business Coach training with Canada Coach Academy. She has an amazing ability to hold space, not only one on one, but for a class. Kelly has an easy and thought-provoking way about her and invites creativity, infuses it with experience and encourages diversity of thought. Her own business experience with coaching in various industries is invaluable. Her values in the power of individual self-transformation and collaborative team growth shine through in both her teaching and in coaching. I have also had the opportunity to work with Kelly as my mentor. Let me tell you, when you feel the imposter syndrome coming on, she has a way of clearing the way through to see what can be possible.
