Generally speaking, we weren’t taught as children to be comfortable in conflict, therefore we didn’t have the gift of understanding ourselves and others when tempers get high or situations get sticky. Understanding ourselves is the first step to coming through conflict in a productive way. Navigating conflict is simply a skill that we can improve on with reflection and practice.

This process will help you understand what conflict feels like for you, so you can communicate well to others. When you communicate well, conflict lessens. You can use this with your family, your workplace or just for your own reflection.

Please let me know how it goes! I'm always curious about your experience.
